Triton Iceland

Yesterday Icelandic TV channel N4 aired a special program about our partners Loðnuvinnslan (LVF) in Fáskrúðsfjörður

The program can be seen here:

Triton and LVF have been working closely together for several years and in 2019 this successful cooperation culminated in LVF aquiring a share in Triton.

LVF‘s main products from pelagic fish: Capelin and Capelin Roes, Mackerel Fillets, Herring and Fish-Meal. The pelagic producitions are seasonal. Cod and Haddock on the other hand are processed all year round. The products are fresh loins and fillets, as well as frozen cod/haddock blocks, portions, mince and cod skins.

LVF founded through the merger of the Fáskrúðsfjörður coop and the fish meal factory Loðnuvinnslan h/f. and began operations in January 2002. Today LVF is owned by 83% by the Fáskrúðsfjörður Coop (KFFB) which is owned by the inhabitants of Fáskrúðsfjörður.
