Dr. Örn Erlendsson permitted export license in May 23, 1980. He was going to export caviar, canned cod liver and shrimps to Germany and Czechoslovakia.

Very successful Brussels Seafood expo 2018
We like to thank you for a very successful Brussels seafood expo 2018. Thank you all that stopped by our stand and for all the good meetings we had. We look forward to meet everybody latest next year.
Triton at Brussels Seafood 2018
Triton is going to visit the Seafood Expo Global which takes place in Brussels 24th – 26th of April. As always we will be there with our stand. Hall 6, Stand 839. We hope to see you there.

In Memoriam
My father and founder of Triton ehf, Dr. Örn Erlendsson sadly passed away on the 18th of December 2017 after a difficult struggle with cancer. We are proud to honour his memory and continue to carry the torch in his name. Ormur Arnarson

Lumpfish season to start soon
The new lumpfish season will start on 20th of March. So far the number of fishing days will be limited to 20 days, but likely more days will be added after the Icelandic Marine Research Institutes (HAFRO) spring expedition April 1st.
Fishermen strike the longest one yet?
The Icelandic fishermen are still on strike for the 6th week running. Any agreement with the boat operators seems as distant as before.
